Donncha Ó Dúlaing interviewed myself and Nora, on RTÉ Radio One on 2 November 1972, about a radio programme I had produced comparing Irish and Welsh protest songs at that time. This had won the then newly introduced competition for a radio programme in the Irish language at the Oireachtas the previous year.
The item is introduced with Na hUaisle's song EEC, which became an anthem for Irish language protesters in the 1972 EEC referendum. Then there is the interview itself. The item is played out with Na hUaisle's song Dún Mé protesting at the closure of national schools in Irish-speaking areas.
