Congratulations to Dáithaí C (below) for spotting this one.

Well, that didn't last long. Clearly these prophylactic phallic projectiles are still as memorable as when I first saw them and thought they should, in all modesty, be covered up. That was pre-Vatican II.

  4. You were probably seeing phallic projectiles everywhere before Vatican II ... 1962 if I'm not mistaken.
