Where is it? No. 11

To see all the quiz items click on the "Where?" tag below.

This has been correctly identified by a former colleague as the plaque on the Memorial Hall at what used to be the Freemasons' Orphaned Boys School at Richview Lodge in Clonskeagh, Dublin. It is now part of the UCD School of Architecture at the Clonskeagh end of the Belfield campus.

I just happened to notice it when I recently paid a visit to the Architecture Library to read a thesis on Ireland's Martello Towers.

  1. I don't actually recognise the plaque but the date & neo-classical style suggest the War Memorial Building in Trinity College?

You're close, but not close. This one is out of the city centre, southside.

    Earlsfort Terrace connections, sort of.

    Muslims in the vicinity.
